Lecture notes- Week 4

Animation and motion graphics, Group work lecture

Here's a summary of what I got from the lectures:

Animation and motion graphics

-It was interesting to see how a designer's career developed over many years. Apparently he didn't become an 2D animator till he was around 30 and did work in graphic design etc.

-The videos he showed us were quite cool. The circular technique he used for his 2D images made his videos way more interesting.

-He explained the concept "working for free". He did some free animation work for musicians which went viral, and then got more clients asking him to do similar videos and maybe for free too.

--He explained that it is good to work for free but only on your own terms for recognition.

Group work lecture

-It was mainly about the De Bono hats and how they relate to design thinking.

-She also techniques to think and how to overcome difficulties to think creatively.
